MyPA Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
MyPA ("we", "us") is a personal assistant app for Android and Windows, operated by YEMJOS AGILE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, B108, Ushafa Extension Village, Bwari, Abuja, Nigeria. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and how to delete it.
Contact: support.yemjos@gmail.com
What we collect
Your account
- Your Google account's name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID, when you sign in with Google.
What you create in MyPA
- Audio recordings you make or upload, including system audio when you record a call on Windows.
- Transcripts, speaker labels, summaries, key notes and action items generated from those recordings.
- Chat messages with the assistant, and the assistant's replies.
- Reminders, calendar events, tasks, notes and contacts you add, or ask the assistant to add.
- Your profile ("persona"): details you choose to share, such as your city, routine, interests and preferred response style. The assistant may also note patterns it infers from your conversations. These are shown to you on the profile screen.
Google data you connect
When you sign in, you grant MyPA access to parts of your Google account. We use it only for the features below:
- Google Calendar: to sync events you create in MyPA with your calendar, and changes you make in Google Calendar back into MyPA.
- Google Drive (only files MyPA creates): to back up your recordings and transcripts to your own Drive.
- Gmail: to read recent messages and send email only when you ask the assistant to.
- Google Contacts (read-only): to import contacts when you ask.
MyPA's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Payments
- Your subscription plan, and the amount, currency, date and payment reference of each payment. Card details are handled by our payment providers (Flutterwave and Paystack) and never reach us.
Technical data
- Push-notification tokens for your devices.
- Crash reports from the Android app (Firebase Crashlytics), which include the device model, OS version and the state of the app when it crashed.
- Records of how much processing each request used (for example transcription minutes and AI usage), for billing and cost control.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we use it
- To provide the service: transcribing and summarising recordings, answering in chat, sending reminders, and syncing with your Google account.
- To personalise the assistant's answers using your profile.
- To run subscriptions and free trials, including making sure a free trial is used only once per person (see "After you delete your account").
- To keep the service secure, reliable and working: preventing abuse, fixing crashes and controlling costs.
Who processes your data for us
We share your data only with providers that run parts of MyPA for us:
| Provider |
What for |
| Google (Gemini API, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics, Google APIs) |
AI summaries and chat, push notifications, crash reports, the Google features above |
| AssemblyAI |
Converting your recordings to text |
| Cloudflare (R2 storage) |
Storing your audio recordings |
| Supabase |
Our database |
| Render |
Hosting our servers |
| Flutterwave, Paystack |
Processing payments |
Some of these providers process data outside your country. These providers process your data under their data processing terms, which require them to protect it and to use it only to provide their service to us.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
- Recordings (audio) are deleted from our storage 7 days after they're made, once a backup to your own Google Drive is confirmed. Recordings without a confirmed Drive backup are kept until you delete them or your account.
- Everything else (transcripts, chats, reminders, notes and the rest) is kept until you delete it or delete your account.
- Crash reports are kept according to Firebase's retention settings.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual recordings, chats, reminders and other items in the app at any time.
To delete your account and all its data: open Profile → Delete account in the app. If you can't use the app, see https://mypa.aojsoft.com.ng/legal/delete-account or email support.yemjos@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.
Deleting your account permanently removes your recordings, transcripts, chats (including the assistant's conversation memory), reminders, calendar events, tasks, notes, contacts, profile and device tokens. It also revokes MyPA's access to your Google account. Files already backed up to your own Google Drive stay there, because they're yours.
After you delete your account
We keep two things, neither of which identifies you:
- Payment records (amount, currency, date, provider reference), with the link to your account removed, because we're required to keep financial records.
- A one-way keyed fingerprint of your Google account ID and email address. It can't be turned back into your email. It's used only to recognise a returning sign-up, so that the free trial is given once per person.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and Google access tokens are encrypted in our database. Access to your data is limited to your own account.
Children
MyPA is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict how we process it. Contact support.yemjos@gmail.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission).
Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll let you know in the app before they take effect.
